Security principles

A practical security model for campaign operations.

Security for outreach software is not just about servers. It also depends on who can access the platform, how lists enter the system, which numbers are used, and how campaign data moves between tools.

AC

Controlled Access

Limit platform access to authorized users and review who needs operational, administrative, or campaign-level access.

DW

Managed Data Workflows

Treat imports, exports, APIs, webhooks, and connected applications as part of the security boundary.

CI

Caller Identity Controls

Keep approved caller IDs, authentication tools, and number-health workflows organized for outbound calling.

CP

Campaign Permissions

Make campaign creation, list handling, and calling activity part of a deliberate operational process.

RV

Review & Verification

Confirm integration permissions, contact-source requirements, caller identity, and campaign rules before launch.

SR

Shared Responsibility

Press 1 Voice provides platform tools. Your organization remains responsible for lawful use, list eligibility, consent, content, and campaign decisions.

Account & data security

Keep access, contact data, and campaign activity under control.

The safest campaign starts before the first call. Review who can access the platform, which data is uploaded, where it came from, and which connected systems can exchange information with Press 1 Voice.

✓
Authorized users

Give access only to staff, organizers, volunteers, or administrators who need it.

✓
Contact-source review

Know where each list came from and whether your organization is permitted to contact it.

✓
Integration permissions

Use only the third-party credentials and access scopes needed for the workflow.

✓
Campaign review

Confirm the audience, caller identity, message, timing, and follow-up process before launch.

Shared responsibility

Platform controls and customer responsibilities work together.

No calling platform can determine every legal requirement for every campaign. Press 1 Voice supports the workflow, while your organization controls the audience, message, consent basis, timing, and campaign purpose.

Press 1 Voice supports

Structured campaign and calling workflows
Caller identity and number-management tools
Integrations, APIs, and controlled data workflows where available
Campaign activity and response tracking
Product guidance and operational setup

Your organization is responsible for

Lawful collection and use of contact information
Consent, opt-out, suppression, and eligibility requirements
Calling hours, geographic restrictions, and campaign-specific rules
Message content, disclosures, and caller identification
Reviewing applicable federal, state, local, industry, and election rules
Responsible calling

Caller identity tools support the workflow. They do not replace legal review.

Authentication, number reputation, caller ID selection, and campaign controls each solve a different operational problem. None of them should be treated as a blanket compliance guarantee.

ID

Dynamic Caller ID

Helps organize approved calling numbers by campaign, region, or workflow depending on configuration.

SL

Spam Label Shield

Supports number-health and reputation monitoring. It cannot guarantee that a carrier or third party will never apply a warning label.

ST

STIR/SHAKEN

Supports authenticated caller identity in compatible telecommunications environments. Authentication is separate from campaign consent or legal compliance.

P1

Press-1 Responses

Captures keypad intent and can support a clearer follow-up path. Your team remains responsible for the legality of the underlying call.

PB

Phone Banking

Gives callers structured scripts and campaign context while your organization controls the content and calling rules.

BS

Branching Scripts

Helps standardize conversations, but your legal and compliance team should approve required disclosures and campaign language.

Certifications & attestations

Only publish security claims that can be verified.

Verified security documentation goes here when available.
No certification claim is being made on this page.

If Press 1 Voice later completes an independent audit, obtains a certification, publishes a security white paper, or formalizes a data-processing framework, this section can be updated with the exact verified scope, date, and documentation.

Until then, avoid badges or statements such as “SOC 2 Certified,” “ISO 27001 Certified,” “HIPAA Compliant,” “GDPR Certified,” or similar claims unless they are factually accurate and supported by current documentation.

Integrations & API security

Treat every connected system as part of the security boundary.

CRM, voter, member, nonprofit, campaign, API, webhook, import, and export workflows can all move sensitive operational data. Use the minimum access required for the task.

Use scoped access

Grant a connected application only the permissions necessary for the intended workflow.

Protect credentials

Keep API keys, passwords, tokens, and connector credentials restricted to authorized administrators.

Review connected apps

Remove unused connections and review whether existing integrations still need access.

Validate data mappings

Confirm which fields move between systems and avoid sending data that the receiving system does not need.

Control exports

Handle exported contact and campaign files according to your organization’s own data-handling policies.

Plan custom workflows

Review technical and security requirements before connecting private databases or internal applications.

FAQs

Security & Compliance FAQs

Is Press 1 Voice SOC 2 certified?
This page does not claim SOC 2 certification. If Press 1 Voice completes a SOC 2 examination in the future, the company should publish the exact verified status and scope based on its formal audit documentation.
Is Press 1 Voice ISO 27001 certified?
No ISO 27001 certification claim is made on this page. Any future certification claim should be based on current, independently verifiable documentation.
Does Press 1 Voice guarantee TCPA or other calling-law compliance?
No. Press 1 Voice provides campaign and calling tools, but each customer is responsible for determining and following the laws, consent requirements, calling restrictions, identification rules, election regulations, and other obligations that apply to its specific campaign.
Does STIR/SHAKEN mean our campaign is compliant?
No. STIR/SHAKEN relates to caller authentication in supported telecommunications environments. It does not replace consent requirements, calling-hour restrictions, opt-out rules, disclosures, or other legal obligations.
Can Spam Label Shield guarantee that our calls will not be labeled as spam?
No. Number-health and reputation monitoring can support better calling operations, but carriers and third-party reputation providers can make independent labeling decisions.
Can we connect Press 1 Voice to our CRM securely?
Press 1 Voice can support CRM, API, webhook, import, export, and custom integration workflows depending on the third-party system and available access. Your organization should review credentials, scopes, data mappings, and connected-system permissions before deployment. See the Integrations page.
Who is responsible for contact consent and list eligibility?
The customer is responsible for determining whether it has the right to contact each person on a campaign list and for meeting applicable consent, suppression, opt-out, timing, disclosure, and other legal requirements.
How can our security team request more information?
Use the Contact page to submit security or procurement questions, or book a demo to review the platform and data workflow with the Press 1 Voice team.
